  • Savasana: This pose can seem very simple but offers a range of benefits when you engage in it. Lay on your back and completely relax each of the muscles in your body, breathing deeply while you do.
  • Mountain pose: In this pose, you’ll stand tall with your big toes touching each other. Draw your heels together. Then, pull in your abdominal muscles and relax your shoulders. Breathe while doing so and try to tense up the muscles in your leg with each breath.
  • Cobbler’s pose: For those with back and hip problems, this pose can offer some support. Sit on a mat with your back straight. Bend your knees upwards and maneuver so that the bottoms of your feet touch each other. This is a good way to stretch when you are looking for help with your lower back.
